Chime Time

Chime Time is a product created with Rob Bearman of Hyperfine Software.

Chime Time is software for Android devices that turns your phone into an old-time clock or clock tower. Depending on the selected clock, your phone chimes the hour, half-hour, or even 15 minutes so you can keep track of time without looking at it. The goal of Chime Time is to bring some nostalgia to mobile devices, and to be useful too.

Chime Time has given us a chance to experiment with the "razor and blades" business model. The app is free, and you can buy additional clocks. Customers have shown some interest, with over 15,000 downloads and more than 2000 clocks sold.
