Chime Time was a product created with Rob Bearman of Hyperfine Software.

Chime Time is an app for Android that turns your phone into an old-time chiming clock, so you can keep track of time without looking at it. Chime Time brings some nostalgia to mobile devices, and is useful too.

Chime Time gave us a chance to utilize the "razor and blades" business model by offering a free app followed by additional paid clocks. Customers showed interest, with over 50,000 downloads and more than 10,000 clocks sold. Although the business wasn't super lucrative, we still have customers begging to bring it back.
